Water Powered Calculator
September 6, 2008 by Greener Buyer
Got water? You’ve got power! With the all new water powered calculator say goodbye to batteries and hello to being green. Works like a normal calculator but instead of being powered by regular batteries or solar power it uses water. Simply remove the two tubes hidden in the back and fill them up under the tap. Supposedly doing this once will keep the battery going for at least 2 months.
Why is it Green?
- Recyclable
- Powered by Water
Wow, that is pretty cool. Don’t spose you’ve got any more details to how it works?
Hey, Paul there are many places that sell this and similar items. Here is the place I first found it. http://www.livingecho.com/companies/gaiam/products/water-powered-calculator-gaiam-17-0334 there’s a bit more info there.
Now we just need to get battery powered objects that are used more often than calculators to be powered that way (camera’s, ipods, etc) What an incredible start tho! Thanks so much for sharing.
Dont have it in my country. Hope technology can be used in a car, more green than electric…
